The Science Behind The Treatment
The patient is seated at 45° in a treatment chair. The face is thoroughly cleansed and any makeup removed. Dr. Rashmika performs a dynamic facial assessment — asking the patient to raise eyebrows, frown, squint, and smile — to map the active muscles and wrinkle lines. Treatment zones are marked on the skin. Botox is reconstituted to the appropriate concentration and loaded into insulin syringes. Injections are placed with precise depth, volume, and placement for each muscle group: forehead (3–5 injection points), glabella (5 injection points), crow's feet (3 injection points per side). Each injection is just 2–5 units. The entire procedure takes 10–15 minutes. Results are not immediate — the toxin takes 3–5 days to begin working and 10–14 days to reach full effect. Patients are reviewed at 2 weeks for a complimentary review and any touch-up if needed.

Pre-Treatment Steps
- • Avoid active retinoids and harsh exfoliants 3 days prior
- • Inform doctor of any active cold sores or medication
- • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
Post-Treatment Guidelines
- • Do not lie down flat or bend over for 4 hours after treatment — this prevents toxin migration.
- • Do not massage or rub the treatment area for 24 hours.
- • Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and steam for 24 hours.
- • Exercise the treated muscles (raise eyebrows repeatedly, squint) for the first hour to enhance toxin uptake — this is specific to Botox.
- • Do not apply pressure to the face (facials, face-down massages) for 1 week.
- • Mild bruising at injection points is normal — apply arnica gel if needed.
- • Return for your complimentary 2-week review — never skip this appointment.
