Medical Foundation
The Science Behind The Treatment
Exosome therapy is performed immediately after the primary scar revision procedure (MNRF or CO2 laser) while the micro-channels are open. The freeze-dried exosome powder is reconstituted with sterile saline immediately before use. The solution is applied to the treated skin and gently massaged in, or mechanically driven in using a low-speed dermapen. The exosome particles penetrate directly into the dermis via the open channels. Alternatively, for standalone exosome treatment, the solution is injected intradermally at 0.1ml per injection point across the scar area using a meso-injection technique. The patient experiences no discomfort beyond mild pressure during topical application. Total application takes 10–15 minutes.

Pre-Treatment Steps
- • Avoid active retinoids and harsh exfoliants 3 days prior
- • Inform doctor of any active cold sores or medication
- • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
Post-Treatment Guidelines
- • After exosome application, keep the treated skin moist and undisturbed for 24 hours.
- • Apply prescribed healing cream gently from day 2.
- • Avoid washing the treated area for 24 hours post-application.
- • No sun exposure for the healing period as per the combined procedure protocol.
- • Continue prescribed collagen-support supplements (vitamin C, zinc) throughout the healing phase.
- • Stay well hydrated — exosome activity in the dermis is hydration-dependent.
- • Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) for 5 days post-exosome treatment — some degree of inflammation is required to drive the healing response that the exosomes are enhancing.
