Medical Foundation
The Science Behind The Treatment
Topical numbing cream is applied for 45–60 minutes. The MNRF device is configured with needle depth set to 1.5–2.5mm for facial scarring (deeper settings for deeper scars). The device is stamped systematically across the scar areas in a grid pattern, delivering RF energy at each stamp point. Multiple passes at varying depths target different levels of the scar. Immediately after, exosome or GFC serum is applied topically and massaged in. The skin appears red (like a moderate sunburn) and may feel tight and warm for 24–48 hours. Pinpoint marks from needle entry visible for 2–3 days, resolving without marks.

Pre & Post Procedure Guidelines
Pre-Treatment Steps
- • Avoid active retinoids and harsh exfoliants 3 days prior
- • Inform doctor of any active cold sores or medication
- • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
Post-Treatment Guidelines
- • Avoid washing for 24 hours post-MNRF — allow the treated skin to heal undisturbed.
- • Gently cleanse with cool water and prescribed cleanser from day 2.
- • Apply prescribed healing serum morning and evening for 1 week.
- • No sun exposure for 1 week — apply SPF 50+ from day 5 onwards.
- • No retinoids, acids, or active skincare for 7 days post-MNRF.
- • Tiny crusts/pinpoint scabs are normal — allow them to shed naturally over 3–5 days.
- • Track scar improvement with standardised photographs at each session.
