Restore structure. Preserve expression.
Anti-ageing at Krisara Skin Clinic is fundamentally different from the over-treated, frozen, or pillow-faced results seen elsewhere. Our approach is rooted in facial anatomy — understanding the three-dimensional structure of the ageing face and restoring volume, support, and skin quality in a way that looks completely natural. We use a combination of precision neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin), hyaluronic acid fillers placed according to anatomical landmarks, HIFU Ultraformer III for non-surgical structural lifting, and Fractional CO2 laser for skin quality improvement. All treatments are calibrated for Indian facial anatomy and Fitzpatrick III–V skin.

Ageing is not a failure of appearance — it is a structural change. As we age, we lose bone, fat compartments deflate, muscles shift, and the skin loses collagen and elastin. The result is sagging, deepening folds, hollowing, and fine lines. Most clinics address the symptom (the line or fold) rather than the cause (the structural deficit). At Krisara, Dr. Rashmika approaches the face as an architectural system. She does not simply fill the nasolabial fold — she assesses why it is deepening (mid-face volume loss) and restores the structural support that lifts the fold naturally. She does not simply inject Botox into every wrinkle — she maps the dynamic muscle activity and places precise doses only where needed to soften lines while preserving natural expression. HIFU Ultraformer III is used for patients who have lost skin laxity but are not candidates for or not interested in surgery — it delivers focused ultrasound energy to the SMAS layer (the same layer tightened in a surgical facelift) and produces gradual, natural lifting over 3–6 months. Fractional CO2 is used to address skin quality — erasing fine lines, improving texture, and stimulating collagen for a healthy, luminous complexion. The overall philosophy is: less intervention, more anatomical intelligence. Patients should look refreshed, rested, and naturally themselves — never 'done'.
Botulinum toxin type A (Botox, Xeomin) is used in precise micro-doses to relax the specific muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles (forehead lines, crow's feet, frown lines, bunny lines). Unlike blanket Botox that freezes the entire face, our protocol maps individual muscle strength and places doses with anatomical precision to soften wrinkles while maintaining natural expressiveness.
Equipment Used
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are placed in anatomically precise locations to restore lost volume, support facial ligaments, and naturally lift areas of deflation. Fillers are selected based on their rheological properties — G-prime (stiffness) and cohesivity — matched to the specific anatomical zone requiring support. High G-prime fillers for structural areas (cheekbones, chin, jawline), softer fillers for superficial areas (lips, undereye).
Equipment Used
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) Ultraformer III delivers micro-focused ultrasound energy at precise depths (1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm) to target different facial tissue layers: superficial dermis, deep dermis, and the SMAS musculoaponeurotic layer. At the SMAS level, the thermal injury triggers a coagulation zone that contracts existing collagen and stimulates new collagen production, resulting in a gradual, non-surgical lifting effect over 3–6 months.

Absolutely. At Krisara, our fundamental principle is that you should look like the best, most rested version of yourself — not someone who has had obvious work done. Dr. Rashmika places fillers in conservative amounts using anatomical landmarks. The first appointment always involves a thorough consultation, and she prefers to under-fill initially and review at 2 weeks. Natural results are our standard.
Botox results typically last 3–4 months for first-time patients. Repeat patients often find that results extend to 4–5 months after 2–3 treatments, as the muscles gradually weaken from reduced use. The treatment is completely reversible — muscles return to full strength once the toxin metabolises.
HIFU Ultraformer III involves focused ultrasound energy and can cause a sensation of warmth, tingling, or mild discomfort during the deep (SMAS) passes. We apply topical numbing cream 30 minutes before the procedure and can also offer oral pain relief if needed. Most patients rate the discomfort as tolerable, and the procedure requires no downtime.
HIFU delivers focused ultrasound energy to very specific, pre-determined tissue depths (including the SMAS layer at 4.5mm) with millimetre precision. Radiofrequency (RF) devices deliver heat energy more diffusely across the dermis. HIFU is more targeted and can address the SMAS layer without surgery — radiofrequency primarily works on the dermis and subdermis. For structural lifting, HIFU Ultraformer III is the superior modality.
Fractional CO2 is recommended when skin quality, texture, and fine lines are the primary concern — particularly periorbital (around eyes) and perioral (around mouth) fine lines, open pores, sun damage, and mild-to-moderate acne scarring. It is not recommended for patients with very dark skin (Fitzpatrick V–VI) without a careful test patch, or for patients who cannot tolerate 5–7 days of downtime.
Prevention is always better than correction. We recommend beginning preventive anti-ageing at age 28–30 with skin quality treatments (chemical peels, laser toning, skin boosters) to maintain collagen levels. Neuromodulators (Botox) are ideally started at the first appearance of dynamic lines. Structural fillers become relevant when volume loss is visible, typically from age 35 onwards. There is no 'too early' for good skin health habits.
