Ideal Candidates
For patients with multiple or individual skin tags (acrochordons) on the neck, underarms, groin, eyelids, or inframammary fold. Particularly common in patients who are overweight, diabetic, or have insulin resistance. Skin tags are completely benign but can become uncomfortable when rubbed by clothing or jewellery.

Medical Foundation
The Science Behind The Treatment
Multiple skin tags are identified and cleaned with antiseptic solution. A small amount of topical anaesthetic spray or cream is applied to the area. For large tags, a small amount of local anaesthetic is injected at the base. The RF probe is applied to the stalk of each skin tag and activated at the appropriate power — simultaneously cutting the stalk and coagulating the base. The skin tag detaches cleanly. Each tag takes 15–30 seconds to remove. All identified tags are removed in the same session. Tiny scabs form at the base of each removed tag and shed within 5–7 days.

Pre-Treatment Steps
- • Avoid active retinoids and harsh exfoliants 3 days prior
- • Inform doctor of any active cold sores or medication
- • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
Post-Treatment Guidelines
- • Apply antibiotic cream (mupirocin) to each treatment site twice daily for 3 days.
- • Keep the sites dry for 24 hours post-procedure.
- • Small scabs at each site are normal — do not scratch or pick them.
- • Wear loose, non-compressive clothing over treated areas for 5 days.
- • Avoid shaving or waxing over treated areas until fully healed.
- • Apply SPF 50+ on any neck or décolletage sites from day 7.
- • To prevent new skin tag formation: maintain a healthy weight and manage insulin resistance through diet and exercise.
