Medical Foundation
The Science Behind The Treatment
The scalp is cleansed and topical numbing cream is applied for 45 minutes prior to the procedure. The MNRF device is calibrated with needle depth set at 1.5–2.5mm to reach the level of the follicular dermal papilla. The handpiece is stamped systematically across the scalp treatment zones (frontal, vertex, temporal) in a grid pattern. Upon stamping, the RF energy is delivered in a pulse (10–20 milliseconds) at each needle entry point. The patient feels a mild heat and pressure sensation. The entire scalp treatment takes 30–40 minutes. Immediately after the procedure, GFC or exosome serum is applied topically and gently massaged in — the open micro-channels allow direct penetration to the papilla. The scalp will appear red (like a mild sunburn) for 24–48 hours. Tiny pinpoint scabs may appear and resolve within 5–7 days.

Pre-Treatment Steps
- • Avoid active retinoids and harsh exfoliants 3 days prior
- • Inform doctor of any active cold sores or medication
- • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
Post-Treatment Guidelines
- • Do not touch or scratch the scalp for 24 hours after treatment.
- • Avoid washing hair for 48 hours to allow micro-channels to close and serum to absorb.
- • Do not apply any styling products, oils, or chemical treatments for 7 days.
- • Avoid direct sun on the scalp for 1 week — wear a clean cotton cap if outdoors.
- • Tiny pinpoint scabs (1–2mm) are normal — do not pick or scratch them, allow them to shed naturally.
- • Take prescribed oral anti-inflammatory (if prescribed) for 3 days post-procedure to reduce swelling.
- • Restart prescribed growth serums after 7 days once healing is complete.
