Medical Foundation
The Science Behind The Treatment
The skin is cleansed and dried. The diamond-tipped wand is moved in smooth, controlled strokes across the skin surface with gentle downward pressure. The vacuum suction simultaneously removes exfoliated skin cells and stimulates dermal blood flow. The wand is passed 2–3 times over each area, with coarser grit for thicker areas (forehead, cheeks) and finer grit for the delicate undereye and lip areas. Particular attention is paid to areas of dullness, congestion, and pigmentation. The entire face treatment takes 30–40 minutes. Immediately after, a brightening hydration mask with vitamin C and hyaluronic acid is applied and left for 15 minutes. The skin appears immediately smoother, brighter, and more even-toned after treatment.

Pre-Treatment Steps
- • Avoid active retinoids and harsh exfoliants 3 days prior
- • Inform doctor of any active cold sores or medication
- • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
Post-Treatment Guidelines
- • The skin may appear mildly pink for 2–4 hours after treatment — this is a normal sign of increased circulation.
- • Apply prescribed moisturiser and SPF 50+ sunscreen within 1 hour of treatment.
- • Avoid direct sun for 24 hours post-treatment.
- • Do not use retinol, AHA, BHA, or vitamin C actives for 24 hours post-treatment to avoid sensitivity.
- • Use a gentle cleanser for 3 days post-treatment.
- • Avoid makeup for 12 hours to allow skin to breathe and heal.
- • Drink extra water today — the improved circulation and lymphatic activity means the skin will use more hydration.
